Operation Christmas Child

Earlier this year I mentioned that 98.5 Sonshine FM was involved with the Samaritan’s Purse programme, Operation Christmas Child.

We collected almost four thousand shoe boxes and right now our News Director, Samantha Willans, is in Cambodia helping to distribute some of the shoe boxes.

If you’d like to keep up to date with what she’s doing, along with seeing a number of photos of her visit, you can click here.

  • Awesome!!!! Way to go! I found out about Samaritan’s Purse too late this year. I’m going to organize a drive this coming year with my church.

  • This is a great program. Every year I get my 11th grade Sunday school class involved. This year my class of about 20 turned in 68 shoe boxes. These kids are awesome.
Also, what time does your show air? I know you are about 11 or 12 hours ahead of me I was going to try to listen while I was home.
