Shake, rattle and squeeze

If I were to put a gift under your Christmas tree would you leave it there until the 25th?

Would you feel the wrapping hoping to work out what’s inside? Would you carefully peel away the sticky tape to take a peek under the wrapping?

I’m the kind of person who prefers the surprise of opening gifts on special occasions. I have no idea where Pauline hides my gifts in the lead up to birthdays and other special days and even if I did I wouldn’t go looking. Opening a gift when you know what’s inside is a real anti-climax for me.

What about you? Do you have to know or are you OK to wait? I’ve put a new poll in my sidebar so you can vote on your preference. Will you please take the time to vote now?

Last week’s poll was about dreaming. 83% of those who responded said that they dream in colour. 3% said that they dream in both colour and black and white. 14% said they weren’t sure.

  • Hi Rodney,
You are exactly like my wife, so it seems. I could tell here where her gifts were, and she wouldn’t look, preferring to wait until the 25th.

Me? When I was young I used to lead a whole-house search for the presents. My parents resorted to hiding them at a neighbor’s home. I’d like to think I’ve outgrown that… a little… somewhat… maybe. 😉
