Reducing the nuclear threat

Felicity Hill is the coordinator of the new campaign of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear weapons or ICAN.

ICAN is being launched in 60 countries around the world this month, including Australia. The goal of the campaign is a Nuclear Weapons Convention, a treaty to progressively eliminate nuclear weapons, similar to the treaties that have successfully banned landmines and chemical weapons.
