Perth Zoo hosts tasty musical feast

I was absolutely thrilled last night to hear that Daddy Cool will be reforming and touring Australia for the first time in 33 years. The band has played together several times through the years but it’s pretty much been occasional concerts here and there.

I’m even more thrilled today to see that the guys will be playing Perth in November along with the Beach Boys and Christopher Cross. What an amazing concert that will be. It’ll be in the wonderful setting of the Perth Zoo on Friday night the 9th of November. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday the 24th of July.

  • But Daddy Cool are not cool anymore!

Let’s face it, when you start being a judge on crappy TV shows featuring soap stars and real singers doing duets – you’re not really busy enough to go back to touring!

Sorry, but if I think about music that I still listen to from that era – Daddy Cool isn’t it!
