Thou shalt not dance like your dad

According to a recent article it seems that the 11th Commandment has been handed down by the Methodist Church in Britain.

The new commandment is: “Thou shalt not worship false pop idols”.

It’s all part of a competition set up by the church and the Ship of Fools website.

The church, together with Christian website shipoffools.com, left details of the competition on beer mats in pubs around the nation, inviting drinkers to text suggestions for an 11th commandment.

“The idea was to get people, especially those in their 20s and 30s, thinking about the commandments and to prompt a debate about ethics,” said Simon Jenkins, editor of shipoffools.com, who sifted through the 2000 entries.

Check out the article for a few more of the entries.
