The Mighty Fighting Black and Whites

It looks as if Swan Districts will be playing in the finals of the WAFL this year.

We headed along to the game at Bassenden Oval on Saturday to see Swans defeat East Perth.

As long as Swans defeat West Perth (or don’t lose by too much) they’ll play in their first final series since 1994.

It was wonderful to be at the game. Emily, James and I went and listened to the coach’s comments at quarter and three quarter time.

We also spent the half time break on the ground kicking my football to each other.

There’s something wonderful about being at a WAFL game. It’s so relaxed and it’s a great family atmosphere.

Let’s see if the mighty fighting black and whites can win a final or two this year.
