Is there anything sadder or more cringe-worthy than seeing Toni Pearen presenting tonight’s ‘Olympics Special’ of Australia’s Funniest Home Videos from the empty venues that housed the Olympic Games 4 years ago?
Obviously Channel 9 didn’t have the rights to present from the current Olympics in Athens, but surely being 4 years behind the times and putting empty stadiums to air only screams, “Hey look at us – we didn’t get the broadcast rights to the Olympics.”
