Routines

None of us like to be slaves to routine. We talk about being stuck in a rut and how we prefer to be spontaneous.

Mind you there are some good routines. My normal routines have been all over the place during the past few days of Radiothon. My sleeping and waking routine was thrown into chaos. My eating routines were completely changed. And I didn’t get on my bike for a few days.

It was all worth it for the result that our listeners helped us achieve but I’m looking forward to things returning to some kind of normal over the coming days.

Part of that was hopping on my bike first thing today and pedalling in here. It was good to get my legs moving and arrive almost fresh and ready for the day ahead.
