Open Night

It was Open Night at our kids’ school last night. It was our opportunity to visit their classrooms and see some of the work they’d been doing throughout the term.

We were quite amazed at some of the stuff that both Emily and James had produced. We know that they’re both very talented children but they still continually surprise us.

As part of the evening, every child in the school was required to complete a project at home. The subject had to start with the letter S. It was very interesting to see the range of subjects covered. Everything from Shania Twain to Sydney Airport, snakes, ships, scarecrows, the solar system and several subsequent subjects.

Emily created a project on her favourite stars such as Hillary Duff, Frankie Muniz and Delta Goodrem.

It was an easy one for for James. His favourite subject starts with S. Spies.

A great time was had by all.

It was wonderful to see so many parents wandering through the classrooms looking so proud of their children’s work.
