Last night’s Carols by Candlelight at Rockingham Church of Christ was a great event. hundreds of people sat around on the lawn in front of the church singing carols and listening to some very talented performers.
As far as participation goes, I don’t think I’ve seen such a large percentage of a carols audience singing along before. Carols events usually attract a reasonable percentage of people who sing and a larger percentage who just sit there enjoying the atmosphere. Last night just about everyone was carolling.
It was a wonderful evening as far as the weather goes. I was the MC for the night and I was quite comfortable in shorts and T-shirt. Try doing that during a white Christmas.
