Wine and chocolate good for your heart … it's official.

I’m going to try to help my heart this Christmas. I’ll have a little wine and a little chocolate. I may even find some room for some fish and almonds. Maybe even chocolate coated almonds.

A DAILY meal of seven ingredients including wine and chocolate could cut heart disease by 76 per cent, Australian researchers have found.

The diet comprising wine, fish, dark chocolate, fruit, vegetables, almonds and garlic, would also increase life expectancy by more than six years in men and five years in women.

I like this report a lot.

I had a nice glass of Shiraz last night and my heart is already feeling better for it.
