Carols in the Park

Tomorrow afternoon (Sunday the 12th of December) I’ll be heading to Len Shearer Reserve in Booragoon for Carols in the Park.

The publicity for the event says: This is a great night of family carol singing, plus loads of great live family entertainment with music provided by the Midland Brick Brass Band.

Special Guests are nine year old singer-songwriter Ritchell Lim and Kirste. Compered by Graham Mabury (Nightline 6PR) and Miranda Miller (Channel 7) at Len Shearer Reserve, Marcus Ave, Booragoon.

Family fun time from 4.30pm to 6.45pm. For the kids there will be farmyard animals, Buster the Fun Bus, train rides, horse drawn wagon rides, bouncy castle and more. Plus a sausage sizzle, fairy floss, and drinks for sale. Father Christmas arrives at 5.30pm.

I’ll be one of the team broadcasting live for 98.5 Sonshine FM from the venue. I’ll be joined by Arthur Muhl, our breakfast announcer, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. From 7:00pm we put the main programme from the stage live to air.

If you’re in the Perth area and thinking of being part of a Carols by Candlelight event this year, why not make it this one? It’s very professionally put together and there are lots of activities before the carols start to keep the kids entertained.

I especially want you to drop in and say hello. I’d love the opportunity to meet a few fellow bloggers. Just find your way to our broadcast area and introduce yourself. Don’t be shy. We know each other already through the blogosphere so wander up and say g’day.
