Dropping Hints

Have you been dropping subtle hints about what you want for Christmas? Do you think that the person on the receiving end has figured out your hints?

Just remember that if you’re trying to drop hints to a man – your hints need to be about as subtle as a sledgehammer. We’re not generally good at picking up on things unless they’re blindingly obvious and even then it’s not always a definite thing.

I haven’t really thought too much about receiving stuff this Christmas. I truly have everything I need already. Having Pauline, Emily and James in my life pretty much makes life wonderful without too many trimmings.

If I had to pick a couple of things that I really want I suppose I would wish for a couple of days where all I had to do was sit around and read some of the books that are piling up and calling out me to read them. I’d also like to be able to register my own domain so that I didn’t have to rely on my .tk redirection web address. Oh well, I can wish.

  • There’s never really anything I “want” for Christmas and it drives my friends and family crazy!

I just keep saying that I just want the day off! I get that too, so all is well.

  • I’m with Susan on this one. I never really want anything. The things I like most are smell good candles and BOOKS! The family gets so frustrated with me. Oh well. At least I’m fairly cheap :o)
