Post Christmas Sales

Are you heading off to the sales today?

As I was cycling past the Morley Galleria this morning I noticed a flood of cars filling the car park. Lots of people heading off to find a bargain. I suspect a lot of people would also be there to exchange Christmas gifts that were the wrong size, wrong colour or just plain wrong.

I’ve got to say that I enjoy getting a bargain as much as anyone but I have no real desire to be crammed in next to thousands of other people, all wanting to be served at once, on a hot and humid day.

If you are venturing into your local shopping centre to make the most of the sales there are just two things to remember.

1. Stay calm amidst the chaos.

2. My shirt size is XL.

  • my father in law does a big christmas lights display each year, so every year, when the shops open for the first time after xmas my wife kristy and her dad are there to rush in and buy all the discounted xmas gear. It is a day i pencil in for good solid cricket watching as it is always during the boxing day test. 🙂 I hate shopping at the best of times, let alone when everyone in the city turns out.
