I don't know if I should laugh ….

….. or feel sorry for them.

How would the folks at SBS be feeling right now knowing that the public would rather watch a blank screen that what they’re serving up?

I have to admit to enjoying a number of programmes on SBS so perhaps the fact that more people watched a blank screen on Channel 7 for an extended period the other night says more about the calibre of those who normally watch Blue Heelers.

Either way, this article shows that the ratings are in and that 7 beat SBS without having to broadcast a thing.

  • Rodney, I think that acyually says alot more about the demographic of the audience that lotally watches the mundane content on channel 7.

    Desperate Housewives…give me a break! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Extraordinary!
I wasn’t watching anything on TV that night – but I have to say that 48 minutes of nothing would probably be an improvement to the general content on TV these days. The fact that they are taking ratings is the most surprising aspect for me! If this is the crap that they present for us when it’s a ratings period what will the offerings be after the ratings period is over? In a market that is dominated by copy-cat reality programs the old ‘test pattern’ might be ready to make a comeback! ๐Ÿ™‚
