That was fun

I had the pleasure of chatting to Tim Ferguson on-air this morning about the Dr Who theatre show Inside the Tardis.

The show is on at Burswood Theatre tonight and while I’ve never been a Dr Who fan, Tim certainly made it sound fascinating. He’s a big sci-fi fan with the 3rd biggest Star Wars toy collection in the Southern Hemisphere.

Joining Tim on stage will be Colin Baker (The Sixth Doctor), Sylvester McCoy (The Seventh Doctor) and Jon Pertwee’s (The Third Doctor) companion Katy Manning. They’ll share their experiences and reveal some secrets of the 42 year-old BBC show.

Interviewing Tim was great fun because he has an extremely quick wit and he certainly doens’t take life, or himself, too seriously. I opened the interview by listing some of his accomplishments; writer, actor, musician, producer. I then asked him if there is anything he can’t do. Straight away he told me that he can’t and even refuses to tap dance. I only wish that everyone I interviewed was so full of energy.
