This Sunday night will see thousands of people flock to Supreme Court Gardens in Perth for the annual Church Together.
As their website says, Church Together is the largest Christian combined church event of its kind in Australasia with past attendances of over 12, 000 people.
Launched in 1993, the event is designed to bring together and celebrate the many different denominations that make up the Christian community of Western Australia. Church Together is a powerful statement of unity of the churches in Perth and over the past 12 years, churches have discovered a newfound maturity in recognising that although they are different in many areas, they are one under God.
I’ll be broadcasting live from Supreme Court Gardens with fellow Sonshine FM announcer, John Donoghue from 4:00 p.m. so please drop in and say hello. We’ll have some good signage around so you’ll have no problems finding us.
The main stage will get cranked up around 6:00 p.m.
The speaker for the night will be Wayne Cordeiro with music supplied from Sons of Korah and Paul Colman.
