I’ve sent a few messages to people who I’ve discovered on the site without a great deal of success.
I figure there may be a few reasons that I’m not getting relpies.
1. The people I’ve tried to contact don’t remember me.
2. The people I’ve tried to contact do remember me but wish they didn’t.
3. The people I’ve tried to contact signed up a long time back and then changed email addresses.
It helps my fragile ego to believe that number 3 is the most likely option. So if you have ever signed onto the site but haven’t updated your details recently, please give it a go today. Thanks.

I joined Friends Australia – a few people have been in touch with me & I emailed back. But then nothing: I think people intend to write back and then never bother. I haven’t contacted anyone through it. I just like to watch from a distance, like the creepy stalker I am.
I joined schoolfriends quite a while ago (around 8yrs ago I think) and I go back and check every now and then if there’s anyone I know. It’s been interesting to read about those who I wasn’t that close to and what their up to now however I haven’t had any new contact with any good old friends.
I am a school friends member. I have seen a few familiar names on the site, but that’s really as far as it goes. I get emailed when anyone new from my selected schools joins up. Would be interesting to make contact though.
I had a friend email me through the site, but as I never believed much of what she told me at school, I didn’t believe too much of her email either…:)
