Rodney's recommendations

It’s Wednesday and time to recommend another of my regular reads.

Seeing as I’m a radio announcer in Perth, Western Australia, I find Notes in the Key of Life an interesting read. It’s author, Cindy Swanson, is a radio announcer at 101 QFL in Illinois where she co-hosts the morning show.

Cindy is married with three children, has a German shepherd dog named Stormy and one black toy poodle puppy named Brandy.

She can’t live a day without music and she dreams of visiting Ireland and Scotland.

She has lived in Springfield, Missouri; Fayetteville, Arkansas; Hobbs, New Mexico; Odessa, Texas; Beirut, Lebanon; Vidor, Texas; Shreveport, Louisiana; El Paso, Texas and Rockford, Illinois.

Cindy blogs about a range of subjects from working in the media to her faith and family life.

If you do drop in to check out Cindy’s blog, make sure you say hi from me.

While we’re on the subject of recommendations, if you keep a blog, how about a few posts on your blog about some of your favourites. You don’t have to put in a picture of the blog, just let us know which blogs you like and provide a link.

If you ever want to browse some of the other blogs I read each day through Bloglines, you can read your way through THE BLOG LIST in my right hand sidebar.

  • Rodney, thanks so much for showcasing my blog! I’m honored. Yours is also a regular stop for me. I love reading about the life of a radio personality “down under.” I’d love to visit Australia someday.
