It’s about now that I’m going to start paying more attention to the weather forecast. I’m not so concerned about today’s forecast or even tomorrow’s, I want to know what it’ll be like next Monday.
This time next week we’ll be on Rottnest Island. I don’t really care if there are some rainy days once we’re there. Sitting around, relaxing, reading, while the rain falls outside, sounds just fine to me. What I would really like to see is a fine, calm day when we take the ferry across to the island and a similar day for when we return. Is that too much to ask?
At the moment the long term forecast tells me that Monday will be fine with a maximum of around 26 degrees celcius. Perfect. I just hope it stays that way and that the following Monday will be the same for our return journey.
I’ve never actually been really sea sick but I prefer not to take any chances.

How exciting!!!
I’m really looking forward to it, Rachel. I haven’t had a relaxing week off for at least a couple of years. 🙂
Looks like a really beautiful place.
