Rodney's Recommendations

Every Wednesday I make a recommendation to check out one of the blogs that I frequent. We all have different tastes so there will be some you like and some you won’t. I simply suggest that you give them the once over to see if they might be something that will interest you.

Today’s choice is a blog by Chris who lives on Queensland’s Gold Coast called Life Cycle.

As well as being Sarah Blasko’s greatest fan, Chris is a cyclist who visits some of the most amazing places on his bike. If Queensland is looking for someone to head up their next tourism campaign, Chris Lewthwaite is the man for the job.

I just love his photos and if you do visit his blog, take some time to trawl back through his archives to see some of the photos he has taken. It’s not just the wonderful subject matter that he has to work with, he also has a great eye for photography.

I don’t think I ever had much of a desire to visit Queensland until I started reading Life Cycle. Chris has a wonderful way of telling the story of his rides as well as showing you the evidence through his photos.

Of course it’s not all about cycling. Chris comments on various subjects from his own life through to current events and his eclectic tastes in music.

If you do drop in to check out Life Cycle, make sure you say hi from me.

While we’re on the subject of recommendations, if you keep a blog, how about a few posts on your blog about some of your favourites. You don’t have to put in a picture of the blog, just let us know which blogs you like and provide a link.

If you ever want to browse some of the other blogs I read each day through Bloglines, you can read your way through THE BLOG LIST in my right hand sidebar.
