If you’re in the Perth area and want to meet up with other local bloggers, the Perth Weblogger Meetup is happening from 7:00 p.m. this Wednesday, September 20, at the Brass Monkey Pub and Brasserie, 209 William Street, Northbridge.
I’m hopeless at turning up at places alone when I don’t know anyone so I’m hoping that a few regular readers of The Journey are considering being part of the Meetup.
We have an ‘Open Night’ at the kids’ school that night but I’m hoping it finishes in time to allow me to get to my first Weblogger Meetup.

Glad to hear that you’re planning to come along to meetup! I’ll be there, and if *I* can rock up by myself, I reckon you can no worries. You’ve probably noticed the instructions to meet upstairs on the balcony, near the corner and that’s worked out well for the last few months. I don’t think we’ve ever had a sign and, secretly, I think it’s part of the whole ‘blogger meetup’ deal – you have to be willing to ask complete strangers if they blog. 🙂 Anyway, if I’m there on time, I’ll be the one with very curly almost-shoulder length hair and a smile. Look forward to meeting you in person if you make it!
