One, two, three, four ….

I tackle all the big issues on my radio programme.

Just after 10 o’clock tomorrow morning I’ll be chatting to Tim Harding from Hi-5 on 98.5 Sonshine FM.

I will admit that I’ve seen Hi-5 in concert more than once and have thoroughly enjoyed their show. I know that it’s for kids but I’ve attended the concerts with Pauline, Emily and James so it’s been a family thing.

We’ve also done the Hi-5 groupie thing and hung around the stage door to meet Tim, Kellie, Charli, Nathan and Kathleen. They are some of the friendliest people you’re likely to meet. Anyone who can put that much energy into a show and then come out and be so pleased to chat to a bunch of kids is pretty remarkable. I’ve seen them all stand around chatting to kids and getting photos taken until every child has had their chance to meet their heroes. You get the sense that the excitement of interacting with children isn’t simply something they do on stage but it’s something that is a real part of each one of them.

They’ll be performing in Perth in about a week and a half and I’m sure that they’ll find many new fans.
