Why do you blog?

Want to win an iPod Shuffle?

If you’re a blogger and you’d be prepared to answer a short survey about why you blog, you can go into the running to win an iPod Shuffle.

Just follow this link to fill out the survey.

I’d also be keen to see you add a few details about why you blog to the comments section of this post. Tell me why you started blogging and what keeps you going. What’s the most rewarding part of blogging for you? Do you find blogging difficult at times? (Don’t feel you need to answer all those questions.)

Thanks to Michael at Odd Socks for pointing me to the survey.

  • Thanks for the link, I’ll have a closer look at the survey this evening at home. I have to say that the reasons I continue blogging at present are somewhat different to the reasons I originally started blogging.

I suppose I should have expected that transition to happen.

  • I started blogging as a means of decompressing my brain. Need to deposit all that junk someplace! My blog has undergone many transitions since then, both in look and content. I’ve learned soooo much about myself, others, and the world as a result. And I’ve met lots of cool people (like you). But it’s still pretty much a brain dump. 🙂

  • I blog because I love to write, I love meeting new people and its fun. I never feel like I “have” to post, I usually have more than enough to say. I have two blogs – one I consider my fun blog the other my much more personal scpiritual journey. Only a handful of people read that one, which is fine with me.
