…. and how are your New Year’s resolutions going? Are you the kind of person who slips up then and throws it all in as being too hard? Or are you the sort of person who counts it as a temporary setback and then gets on with the job?
I’d have to admit that I’m a bit of both. My tendency is often to abandon goals that haven’t worked out exactly how I would have liked, but more and more I’m fighting that tendency and getting on back on track.
I suppose I’m a bit like many others in that when I truly see the value of achieving something, I’ll just keep going until I get there. I’m also learning which goals are important and worth chasing and which are simply temporary or wishful thinking.
At this early stage of the year I think we all need to take a good look at our resolutions and goals for 2005, decide which ones are really important and worth fighting for. Then, asking for a hand from the God who created the universe, get on with the job.

do recent events effect your trip to india?
Only indirectly roo.
We’ll still be flying out on the 19th of February as planned. The fundraising that we will undertake for the Bible Society in India will possibly be hampered by the fact that many have already given to the tsunami relief funds. (Of course I don’t have a problem with money going to help those affected, it’s just a fact that many will not be able to give as much as they’d like)
We won’t be anywhere near the areas that were destroyed by the tsunami but I know that we’ll be in a country which has been deeply touched by this tragedy.
