Whether you consider it to be a pack of lies, an inspirational book, a classic piece of literature or the divinely inspired word of God, the Bible remains the world’s best selling book.
You don’t have to be a religious person to read the Bible. With so much of our society based on Judeo-Christian beliefs it’s good to get a handle on what it’s all about.
Many hundreds of people from around the world are signing up to read the entire Bible in a year. The One Year Bible Blog has been set up to help keep people on track and to provide comment on the passages that are being read each day. When you set yourself a big task like that it’s good to have others partnering you to help keep you inspired over the year.
I’ve registered already and I wonder if you’re interested in joining me. Even if you’d rather not register you can still follow the reading plan. Maybe you’ve always wanted to know more of what’s in the book that has caused so much discussion over so many years, and has changed the course of history.
Let’s make a resolution together this year to read through the Bible in a year.
