Cycling home dry

I made it home dry. The storms are continuing to brew and the clouds are looking even more menacing. but there’s been no rain so far.

I got home just after 4:30 then quickly changed and went out to buy some lawn fertiliser. I figure if it’s going to rain I might as well get the fertiliser watered in free.

I’ve dashed around the front and back yard spreading the Baileys Brilliance fertiliser so now I juts have to wait for the downpour.

  • Ahh yes the rain is good for my garden. As I sit at my computer it is raining heavily (9:03pm). The good news. I don’t have to water the gardens tomorrow.

  • and rain it certainly did – the drains along canning hwy were not coping, so I hear, and so a minor flooding ensued :)… I always have taken comfort that our house is at the top of a hill so that if the Perth metro area ever flooded, a whole of people would have to die before me 🙂

  • Hope you got that fertiliser on nice and even. Last time I did the lawn I wound up with patches over fertilised and others not at all. I now have a spreader.

  • I loved the rain. After working all night as a Strike Team Leader at the big bush fire threatening Waroona and Yarloop it was nice to get home yesterday afternoon and enjoy the freshness of the rain. Even as the rain got heaver it was most tranquil and almost cleansing to my soul. I loved the rain. 🙂
